The spirit of The Torre Júlia, recalls to some ideas of socialising intentions in Casa Bloc built in 1932-1939 also in Barcelona.
In this case it was also built buy three young architects, Josep Lluís Sert, Josep Torres Clavé and Joan Baptista Subirana (members of the GATPAC, a collective who revolutionized the concept of social housing )
Wide corridors of views of Barcelona, stairs running around the exterior, double spaces and a dwelling roof create a building thought for the elderly people to have the choice to get socialized with a completely new environment full of activities, answering to the main ideas of the architects
