Sants is probably one of the most complex and extensive stations in Barcelona. Lines of metro, train and buses, all come together there and the station becomes a fundamental articulation of the city, a nucleous of transport and even a meeting point.

This large infrastructure is characterized by its permanent motion. Time and pace are constant motions of the interior space; people walk as if they were trains moving between one place to another. Each person moves in their own specific direction, without making eye contact with each other. Sants is sometimes a crowded place and yet still somewhere you might feel isolated.
